What diet did you decide to do and why?
Not much research here.  I knew that “carbs be bad, veggies be good”.  I signed up for the Noom app and counted calories and learned of the psychological tricks and motivations to eating.  I use those tricks still today.  I wanted a sustainable diet that was not fad based and one that I could endure.  I grew up eating from my mom’s garden, so veggies are an easy choice.  I love the Thiensville public market.  Lawyer among hippies, both looking for great food and   

How do you feel now?
My thoughts are — “lets take the stairs, lets park further away, let’s go snow shoeing, no more mid-day naps post paddle, altered clothes, buying new clothes, cooking my own food.” 

Perhaps the biggest secret?  “I Love Veggies!”  Steve loves reading vegetable cookbooks, making smart choices when dining out, working on portion control and finding ways to exercise that are fun.

Losing more or maintaining now? 
I had a bad December, “what can I say, the holidays”, but it made me kickstart again.  So I’m back to counting calories and using Noom… and I’m happy to report that I lost 8 pounds since the start of this year and I’m back on a roll again!
